Eden Soaring - Cumbria October 2008

Eden Soaring is the UK's newest gliding club operating from Skelling Farm in the Eden Valley close to Penrith, Cumbria. The club's site is situated next to one of the UK's longest ridges which stretches for approx 45km from Warcop in the South to Carlisle in the North. The site is winch launch only to reduce noise disturbance within the national park. Skelling Farm is approx 15km East of Ulswater in the Lake District and well situated to make the most of local ridge, wave and thermal lift.
