The exhibition is not for large commercial aircraft, only for General Aviation, and contains a very large section for gliders as well as other related aircraft.

Several Club members have already expressed an interest in a suggested itinerary of 5 days (including one day travelling there & one back) with the possibility of a day off from the exhibition for gliding.
Travel would be from Stansted (unfortunately) to Memmingen Airport with Ryanair and the planes are booked up early and cheaper if booked early. Costs are something which can be discussed if people are interested in the proposition, but at that time of year the hotel prices are quite reasonable.
